The BookViral Review:
Intense and powerful, Operation Navajo is the compelling new novel in Dickason’s Tracker series. A novel that revels in the excitement of the chase, evading danger and breaking the unbreakable to save the day. It’s also Dickason writing at her very best.
At a time when conspiracy theories, in their relentlessness, have become ten a penny she gives us a well-written thriller that’s not only tense and involving, but scarily all too believable! Brimming with plots, counterplots and sinister priorities, she wants to keep us on tenterhooks throughout and she achieves it with admirable ease.
As is to be expected with Dickason she underpins her narrative with meticulous research and it’s to her credit that Operation Navajo stands in contrast to many of today’s thrillers which often seem simple-minded and lacking in genuine depth. Observant and intelligent it’s accurate in its broad strokes without allowing detail to become overwhelming and she keeps it straight by sticking resolutely to its subject.
As with previous releases in the Tracker series the high octane pacing of Operation Navajo is sustained by a personable ensemble who generously trade off each other. And this time around there is a new addition to the team in the form of Savannah Roth with her prescient skills adding another level of intrigue to Scott Fleming’s Tracker unit.
Delivering a superb, intelligent and escapist thriller Operation Navajo is an absolute must-read for fans of the genre whilst being sure to garner many more fans for Dickason’s highly original Tracker series. It is unreservedly recommended!
