The BookViral Review:-

It is always refreshing to review something a little different and with the intriguing title “M In The Demon Realm” Hammond certainly delivers. Taking a genre populated with mediocrity and adding his own unique slant to the demonic realm which bellows originality from the very first page.

This is a story that quickly gets its hooks into you with an abundance of action sequences that read like they’ve been storyboarded straight of the pages of a comic book. Vibrating with energy and diabolical demons you can sense the zeal and joy in its writing and with its feisty narrative, there’s everything a reader could want from an urban fantasy tale.

Readers familiar with Hammond’s Flaming Cats Of Sohan will know he has a colourfully kinetic visual imagination that seldom lets up. Deliciously dark at times he’s once again on fine form, giving us an intriguing plot as he brings his characters to life with vivid prose and quick-fire staccato dialogue that ensures the pace rarely falters.

Of course, any series rises and falls on the strength of its characters and Emma ‘M’ proves far from pedestrian. Add a little humour and a strong backstory and she has more than enough across-the-board appeal to attract mainstream readers as well.

The beginning of a highly enjoyable series, M In The Demon Realm is sure to prove a hit for fans of this ever-popular genre and is unreservedly recommended!
