SUMMARY:

The book “Lifeline” provides a detailed review of a cancer case history, the failures of conventional cancer treatment that results in the death of close to 10 million “effectively treated” patients globally every year, and immunotherapy, which is the only hope we have to provide a cure for the disease.

The BookViral Review:

Aguilar isn’t the first to write on the subject of cancer treatments but Lifeline: The Case for Effective Cancer Immunotherapy will strike a very personal note with many people around the world who have been diagnosed with cancer. In addition to educating many more as to its differing manifestations and the devastating impact of its most commonly prescribed treatment regimes.

Beginning with Aguilar’s moving account of his late wife’s treatment for cancer. Its misdiagnosis and the blinkered thinking of many oncologists they met. The potential for a lifesaving treatment that was wholly ignored and her eventual death Aguilar writes from a personal perspective but one clearly informed by extensive research.

Getting straight to the point his writing is blunt as he explores the drivers of Big Pharma in developing new cancer treatments and the vast amounts of money they charge. This set  against ‘off-label treatments’ such as D L Methadone and Ketorolac whilst detailing the promotion of anti-angiogenesis through dietary interventions.

There is a wealth of information here that Aguilar has collated and he presents it in a way that is both accessible and thought-provoking as he looks towards the future of cancer treatments. And encouragingly at the work of luminaries like Dr. Rosenberg who’s achieved a paradigm shift in cancer therapy with his focus on strengthening the immune system.

With a comprehensive appendix of recommended additional reading Lifeline – The Case for Effective Cancer Immunotherapy is unreservedly recommended for anyone wanting to further their understanding of cancer treatments.
