The BookViral Review:
Hold On to the Love – Forbidden Love is that rare kind of erotic romance read that comes along only a handful of times each year. A read that’s not only teasingly erotic and offers gut-level entertainment but is unusually profound and it’s clear from the opening chapter that Moody has an intimate grasp of his subject.
What’s particularly refreshing is that he doesn’t serve up a standard erotic romance that stoops to cheap psychoanalysis’ tortured Freudian explanations or laboured plot points. It’s tasteful adult contemporary fiction with romance as its theme and it will have Moody’s readers following along in step with his narrative rhythm and dramatic choices.
What’s more endearing is that instead of pumping up the plot with recycled manufactured thrills, Moody is content to contemplate two reasonably sane adults who get themselves into an almost insoluble dilemma where marital melodrama leads to unexpected truths. He knows it’s almost always more interesting to observe behaviour than to listen to reasons and as an accomplished artist, his perspective translates well into the written word giving his scenes both depth and an engrossing level of intimacy.
On this level the ensuing relationship dynamics between Stefano and Roselyn are about sexuality, not simply sex; about the tension between people, not “perfunctory relationships”; about how physical love is meaningless compared to the connection between soul mates.
Stefano and Roselyn know they are wrong to do what they do but they cannot help themselves because theirs is a fated connection. We know they are careening toward disaster and we can’t stop turning the pages as Hold On to the Love – Forbidden Love casts a hypnotic spell over us, and without moralizing, as it hurtles towards its shocking conclusion.
A scintillating debut that hits all the hot buttons Hold On to the Love – Forbidden Love is a highly recommended five-star read.

A joy to read from beginning to end Vampyre Lawyer is that rare sort of novel where you find yourself checking to see how many pages are left and hoping there are more, not fewer to come.
Are we desensitising our young people with the graphic offerings of modern media? And going even further, do the conclusions of ‘Bandura and the Bobo doll’ still hold true in the modern era?
In reality, very few partners leave at the onset of abuse. Families live with domestic abuse for a significant period of time, and the abused will often return to the perpetrator after attempting to leave.
