The BookViral Review:

Reflections on the influence of Satan in the main fall into four major categories. The literal, moral, allegorical, and anagogical with many proving complex and challenging reads. But whilst some authors seem bent on scaring their readers others want to inform and engage their readers on a more cerebral level and it certainly wouldn’t be disingenuous to say that William Dingwall’s What Happened When I Was Asleep falls into the latter category.

You don’t have to agree with Dingwall. But his thoughts are informed by information readily available to those who care to look. He has invested much time in doing so and the result is an illuminating read underpinned by personal insight as he presents a broadly accessible perspective to his readers.

Extensive in its scope he looks at diverse areas of influence on our lives. Areas such as the real drivers of price fixing and manipulation in the market and the role of governments to how Britain’s National Health Service has been weaponised. He looks at the satanic influence of mainstream media and social media and uncontrolled immigration and he asks what this really means to us.

These are questions that need to be asked and Dingwall is comfortable asking them as he points to an infestation of evil and escalating violence that threatens the decimation of mankind as we currently know it. Not through casual causes but through systematic planning with the intent of enslaving us with our willing, even enthusiastic consent, and the role of mainstream media globally in propagating deception with false information streams.

It’s a dark and deeply disturbing narrative that Dingwall presents and more so when reconciled against God’s Prophecies and the inescapable fact that governments have become overwhelmed by the demands of the world’s leading global companies and their mercurial agendas. But Dingwall is not all doom and gloom and most importantly asks what we can do to help ourselves as he looks to the future of mankind which he encapsulates in his aptly titled poem, DON’T QUIT.

Providing us with robust points of reference from which we can draw our own conclusions. No one knows for sure what the next decade, century, or even millennium will bring but WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I WAS ASLEEP proves a tremendously thought-provoking read which should engender broad interest.

Dealing With Rejection For Authors

As writers, we knowingly place ourselves in a position where we will undoubtedly face more rejection than the average person and it seems to me that how we handle that part of the creative process is often key to our success.
