When Captain Warwick “Wil” Clifton offers to assist the Romany family he has injured, he’s unprepared for the warmth of Romany camaraderie, and he is nowhere near ready for the force of nature that is Princess Syeira Brishen.

The BookViral Review:

Regency historical romance may be about reserve and decorum, but it’s still intensely erotically charged and full of hard choices with Always A Princess amongst the best you’ll read.

Beautifully written in prose that vividly capture Rose’s Lancashire setting, the mood is further augmented by a bewitchingly vibrant blend of emotion and subtle levity which provides timely relief from the mounting tension.

More robust than most period romances Rose’s eye for detail is absolutely superb as she takes us beyond fancy balls and debutantes to give us something with considerably more substance.

Rose’s forte is in finding the balance between blossoming romantic dalliances and heightened sexual tension. With a keen ear for dialogue pervading throughout, her plot vividly captures the grandeur and eccentricities of the period but what makes her tale most notable is her unerring ability to delve into the minds of her characters.

Her chapters are beautifully structured and her prose hypnotic as she creates a genuine sense of time and place. Princess Syeria Brishen is the perfect foil for Captain Warwick “Wil” Clinton’s undeniable charisma and Rose is quick to bring Syeria’s spirited questing nature to the fore.

Both are imbued with strong and vibrant voices. They live and breathe. We’re quick to have sympathy for them. And on this level Rose’s novel functions as an intriguing meditation on the capricious vicissitudes of love and society’s prejudices at that time.

An exhilarating page-turner Always A Princess proves an exceptional read which is sure to be well received by fans of this ever-popular genre. Definitely deserving of your attention, it is recommended without reservation!
