The BookViral Review:

Everything you expect from a Lydan Francis novel Angelfyre Eternity is as epic, grandiose, and emotionally engaging as the previous releases in his Angelfyre series.

An extraordinary science fiction novel, grandly conceived, brilliantly executed and wildly entertaining it’s a science fiction fan’s delight. There’s real passion, real emotion, edge-of-your-seat adventure, and a tactile sense of evil that is stronger here than in previous releases.

There is a feeling of familiarity as established characters return but Anglefyre Eternity doesn’t stray far from the series mold and that’s a good thing as Francis sustains the magic from Book 1 and Book 2.

A robust, action-packed plot benefits from a heady sense of forward momentum and there’s a steady stream of well-conceived future military technology which in usual Francis style looms large in the imagination and further enhances the excitement.

Francis’ dialogue is compelling stuff, reaping the rewards of characters built up over the previous two books, many of them flawed but all with a convincing agenda and it’s hard not to be impressed by Francis’ ability to create convincingly believable characters and highly immersive backdrops. He has a dazzling vision for the Angelfyre series and it’s one that, unlike too many science fiction novels today, is genuinely transporting.

Central to the story arc for Angelfyre Eternity are the characters of Toryn and Ku’rel. We were first introduced to Toryn in Angelfyre Serenity and here Francis revels in the complexity of her character as she comes to grips with the full extents of Hellfyre’s capabilities whilst her evolving friendship with Casey provides powerful emotional touchpoints along with well-timed plot twists as she pursues her quest for revenge against the Quintentiana Purists. These are made even more poignant by the introduction of the k’nturi Ku’rel which allows Francis to explore the real reason for the ongoing war with the Hyxis in addition to forming an exciting new alliance.

Nothing short of superb the Angelfyre series goes from strength to strength with Francis continuing to give his readers Science Fiction that is refreshingly original. Anglefyre Eternity is an unreservedly recommended Golden Quill read.
