The BookViral Review:
Sean Bernatowicz makes the unbelievable believable in this well-thought-out story of happiness within unhappiness. An easy read, with an accessible yet absorbing plot, ‘Long Distance’ weaves romance and intrigue together into a tale full of drama and emotion.
Cataloguing the twists and turns in the life of a young University student Katrina and the passions which drive her, this zesty yet sensitive story sits close to home, with its plausible undertones and authentic setting. Bernatowicz keeps the reader guessing with excellently crafted foreshadowing, in the form of the text messages which act like a secret look into the private thoughts of Katrina, as she seeks answers to the tragedies that unfold before her.
Accompanied by a plethora of rich and well-developed characters, all with their own flaws, foibles and desires, Katrina learns to make sense of love and life, and despite being drenched in loss and betrayal, grows in maturity, as the plot around her takes a dramatic and life-changing twist, with Bernatowicz keeping his readers riveted through every turn.
Written with warmth and wisdom, ‘Long Distance’ eats into the readers’ beliefs about connectivity both in this life and beyond, flirting with the concept of fate as characters are inexplicably but inevitably drawn together. With touchingly written excerpts, Bernatowicz presents an eye-opening gracious and empathic view of his supporting characters as they orbit in and out of his protagonist’s life.
With all the necessary elements of great romantic fiction, ‘Long Distance’ remains emotionally satisfying, whilst offering a well-conceived plot and an optimistic finale. A lovely book to curl up with on a Sunday afternoon.

Edgy with whiplash smart dialogue at first glance Stone Angel might seem like a romance but actually, it’s a study of two lifestyles: of a glamorous film star whose fame and fortune have kept her in the media limelight, and of a professional bodyguard who makes his living by protecting celebrities form high-level threats against them.
Few Crime Fiction authors genuinely excel at successfully misleading their readers and revealing an unlikely suspect as the real villain of the story and those that do can invariably be found at the very top of Whodunit Bestseller lists.
