The BookViral Review:
YA Readers looking for a Dark Fantasy nerve shredder need look no further than The Fall Of Eden! An amalgamation of everything that is universally loved by young adult fantasy readers, Yukari Morgan reminds us why the genre remains so popular.
It’s an age-old adage but never less true that the best fantasy novels work because readers feel fully invested in the fate of the characters and Morgan easily achieves this. Demonstrating a confident command of plot and economic storytelling as Alyssa finds herself locked in a nightmare from which there seems little chance of escape and the answer she seeks eludes her.
Too many novels in the genre follow a generic “Magical powers revealed, true selves explored” template, but The Fall Of Eden isn’t one of those novels that fall back on trite and tired tropes or overreaches for the shock factor. Nor does Morgan give us protagonists predictably mired in love triangles that confuse their character development.
Morgan’s narrative plays with character perspectives to illuminate the terrifying nature of unfolding events in Gemini as supernatural tensions rise to meet expectations. This, in turn, creates a prevailing sense of suspense whilst avoiding excessive blood and gore. But more importantly, Morgan’s careful to balance the genre’s expected tropes with scenes that set up the emotional stakes for key characters.
At its core, The Fall Of Eden is an age-old story of good against evil as Alyssa, Logan, Noah, Rome and Demi find themselves in a battle where alliances shift and temptation will be the end of them. A cracking introduction to a new YA Dark Fantasy series The Fall Of Eden is highly recommended!

The sheer scope of Bobb’s Tales Told by a Tinker series is impossible to ignore with Bobb investing much attention in creating a unique world and magical order where the sense of fun in exploring it is infectious and never slacks in its efforts to wow us.
Possibly the trickiest of all writing genres, the thriller comes with high expectations, which are hard to fulfil. So what do we expect from a thriller, and why do we enjoy reading them so much?
Dusk creeps upon you as you make your way home, bringing with it the stillness and dark of night. As one sense shutters another opens, magnifying each whisper of wind-every shuffle on the pavement behind you.
One thing for sure is we are entering a golden age for children’s books and in particular for the illustrations within them.
