The BookViral Review:
Combining fantastical ideas and ancient Godly feuds into a highly compelling paranormal angel romance Davenport returns with the third book in her Angel & Savior Fantasy Adventure series and it may well be her best yet!
With Balance Interrupted ending with the mother of all cliffhangers we find Briellyn and Eric travelling back in time but as you might expect nothing goes to plan! With Davenport hitting all the usual beats you’d expect from a paranormal romance and bringing a real sense of urgency to her narrative as events surrounding Briellyn and Eric continue to unfold.
A dark and beguiling read that retains its intrigue throughout Davenport gives us a plot that is part cat and mouse pursuit, part mystery, and as her readers have come to expect, a rich and diverse cast that are wonderfully observed.
Davenport’s series is certainly developing into an epic saga. It’s intricate and well nuanced with the requisite romantic tropes that readers are drawn to, whilst its narrative strength comes from Davenport’s attention to detail. This creates a genuine sense of familiarity and grounds the chemistry between Briellyn and Eric so it never feels forced or clichéd. And is always pertinent to the story as opposed to feeling like a must-add to sate the needs of avid romance readers.
There’s also the continuing mystery of Aurecia which Davenport introduced in books 1 and 2 which will keep readers on tenterhooks to the final chapter and leads to an explosive reveal!
An addictive page-turner The Balance Will Break is sure to be applauded by fans of the genre whilst rightly raising high expectations for the next instalment in Davenports Angel & Savior Fantasy Adventure. A five star read, it is unreservedly recommended.

Provocative, often deeply unsettling, it’s underpinned by a weighty and deeply thought-provoking plot with Speiser’s narrative wide-ranging and restlessly probing as he introduces his readers to an eclectic cast of superbly imagined characters.
