The BookViral Review:
Jack Lamburt’s back with a slick plot and Etzil’s stylish penmanship elevating Fatal Justice above the genre’s natural level.
Wholly absorbing with a past he cannot forgive himself for Lamburt is an indelibly charming and hardened character whose volatile blend of dedication and guiltless expediency keeps us off balance. A believable, sympathetic character who’s complex enough to deserve more than formula action scenes and that’s what Etzil gives him.
Lamburt once again delivers the great one-liners that are his stylistic trademark. Yet we feel his need for revenge in deep, painful and personal terms as Etzil ramps up the suspense and action without the genre tendency to slip into easy shock tactics. Taking the time for some quiet, even spare moments to emphasize Lamburt’s calm and apartness.
As with First Justice Etzil writes plausible, literate dialogue and Lamburt’s showdowns always contain an undeniable edgy sense of excitement. You’re never going to get bored with a Jack Lamburt novel. Etzil’s certainly not one to put high gloss on formulaic action and you know you’re going to love his characters. Even the ones destined for a deep dark well!
Etzil knows his way around the Vigilante Thriller genre better than most and continues delivering right on schedule. Another high octane page-turner Fatal Justice is recommended without reservation!
The only thing he has left is a passion for revenge. His first chance to get it could be his last…
Avoiding the pitfalls of cliché his seven ‘Brady Cops’ are uniformly strong with their identities pivoting on their successes and failures which in turn justifies an intriguing array of coincidences and surprises.
Ambitious in its scope Marcus Abston continues his “A Dying Truth Exposed” series with the release of The Two Wolves to give us yet another rich and intensely touching portrayal of life in a past age where racial tensions ran deep,
I read with both fascination and disgust as I learned how he was attacked by a bear who scalped him and left part of his skull flapping open but was not prepared to lay down and die.
Constant speed-reading and jumping from one hyperlink to the next have subconsciously trained our minds to absorb information superficially
The best time travel books in fiction have certainly gone through something of a transition.
Have you ever come home to a hot bath strewn with rose petals and filled with bubbles, in a bathroom bedecked with scented candles and an ice cold glass of champagne fizzing invitingly on the side. If not you might be thinking poor me but you might want to think again!
